About Kassidy
Welcome, I’m Kassidy Mikesell, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and a bachelor’s in journalism with an emphasis in print journalism and that is where my passion lies. On this site you will find the experience I have, my personal/career interests, and photos. In the future I would like to work for an agriculture based print publication.
Experience
Writing
I am familiar with a few different styles of writing with experience in news writing, feature writing, and public affairs. I am also familiar with using AP Stylebook to go over my articles and writing.
Graphic Design
I have used multiple graphic design based software and am well versed in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Internship
I am currently doing an internship with Hill Air Force Base. I am a Logistics Management Specialist Intern. I am learning how to handle contracts, briefings, and the logistics of Foreign Military Sales.
Interests
Agriculture
I was raised on a small family farm and have been fascinated with agriculture my whole life and am very interested in spreading more information about the agricultural industry and life.
Reading
I am an avid reader. I love reading a variety of genres. Reading is something I have enjoyed for a long time and I love learning new information with every book I read.
Outdoors
I love being outdoors and take every opportunity I can to be outside. This gives me a love for my desired career field as it is all about communication about the outdoors.
